What is NCQA®?
The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA®) is a nationally recognized, independent nonprofit that works to improve healthcare quality through rigorous standards and performance measurement. One of its most well-known tools is HEDIS® (Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set), which is used by more than 90% of U.S. health plans to measure performance on important dimensions of care and service.
